The Artful Codex graphic art collection, inspired by the global urban art and outsider art movements, is a creation of STICKERBOMB founders Suridh Hassan and Ryo Sanada. The Artful Codex is a curated library of ready-to-use unique stock illustration, design, street art and graffiti.
Stickerbomb is the world’s leading sticker book series. For over a decade it has endeavoured to shine a light on all types of urban illustration; from graffiti to street art to design and type. Working hand in hand with publisher Laurence King in London, the book series has gone from strength to strength and has expanded to include stationery, exhibitions and more. The Artful Codex image collection is a culmination of 15 years of image creation, archiving and experience.

Documentary, Filmmaking and Image Creation
As filmmakers, design entrepreneurs and creatives, the two founders have spent their careers working within the independent creative arts.
Primarily as filmmakers and documentarians, they have have lived and worked with graffiti writers and street artists as well as an eclectic array of designers, illustrators, musicians who have all influenced the creation Artful Codex image collection.
Suridh and Ryo have an aesthetic developed through a nomadic lifestyle in the streets of London, Paris, Tokyo and Jakarta and it’s this global mindset that has instilled an understanding and appreciate of the complex interplay between art and creatives.
Spanning almost twenty years, the duo have lived in the UK, USA, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Cambodia, China.
STICKERBOMB and The ARTFUL CODEX have created/licensed work for a wide range of clients including, Nike, Canon, Levi's, Apple, Channel News Asia amongst others.
